Iris has now launched our IRIS OPTICAL PORTAL. The portal is designed for quick and easy access for you to see up to date information about all your residents eye health, visual and lifestyle requirements.
It includes:
A CQC approved personal eye care report for each resident.
This includes a colour illustrated guide to indicate their level of sight “how they see”. You can then establish each residents level of sight, both with and without glasses.
Reduce risk of falls by improving visual care and helping your staff better understand your residents visual needs.
If glasses are required pictures of the frames chosen will be illustrated and named and a poster available to enable staff to locate them easily.
Interactive Staff awareness training including how to do in house repairs and how common eye conditions such as cataract and glaucoma affects everyday living.
View all upcoming eye care appointments as well as those that have already taken place.
Print and display booking posters which keep families and residents informed of eye care appointments.
At Iris we believe patient care is paramount.
Our primary aim is to work together with our care homes and our patients to improve quality of life, reduce risk, and provide clarity and accountability for all stakeholders.
